jee is a bit of a red herring here.
jee links to Jwdp (that is the Java based Jwd). The differences you see are
between plot in Jwdw (Windows j.exe) and Jwdp (Java j.jar).
Plot, as much as possible, should be the same on Jwdw and Jwdp so this may
indicate a problem in Jwdp. Perhaps others could take a look at the
differences here between Jwdw and Jwdp and provide some insight as to the
problem.

Subject: [Jprogramming] Mesh or no mesh - you don't decide?
For "jee", given
load 'plot'
mat=: j./~i:2j99
none of these seem to work to avoid an unsightly mesh:
'type surface;mesh 0' plot 2 o. mat
'surface;mesh 0' plot 2 o. mat
'mesh 0;type surface' plot 2 o. mat

JVERSION
Installer: j602a_win.exe
Engine: j602/2008-03-03/16:45
Library: 6.02.024
Any ideas? This is in a freshly-loaded session; all of these work under a
simple "j.exe" session - seems to be a "jee.exe" anomaly.
