Your method beats mine, which was manually inserting commas in the
numeral. Your method did suggest what I consider to be one of the
hidden treasures of J:
1000#.^:_1]134125010
134 125 10
which saves the mental effort it takes to know to include the 4. Yet,
somehow counting the actual number of digits seems harder.
