Here is an example of how things fail for me. TestJMF=. 3 : 0 a=.<"0 i.10000 sz=.7!:5 <'a' fn=.'d:\my documents\TestJMF.jmf' createjmf_jmf_ fn;sz map_jmf_ 'A';fn A=:a )
This little program creates the file TestJMF.jmf just as expected but then balks at the map_jmf_ line. It still fails if I run each line manually. It works if I run each line manually and substitute the value 705536 for sz in the createjmf statement, OR if I explicitly assign 705536 to sz instead of using 7!:5 <'a', even though both are equal. This seems to be another case of equivalent values being treated differently depending on how they were created. Dick V.
