If you press Enter after typing/editing the combobox then the button event will 
fire which will let you do the appropriate processing, however if you type 
something in the combodrop/combobox and then TAB to another control or use the 
mouse to change the focus to another control (without pressing Enter), then as 
far as I can see no events are fired.

So I think the answer to your question is no, but am happy to be corrected!
