(This message is cross posted to programming and general - please
respond to general.)

The web server will be replaced on Monday, December 8th.

Final config of the new server will be at 2am UTC on Monday (9 pm EST
Sunday). You should avoid sending emails to the old server after that,
or making wiki/svn changes, as these will not be copied over.

The server should be installed a couple of hours later. I expect web
pages, wiki and svn to work without too many problems. For the wiki, see
http://www.jsoftware.com/jwiki/System/MoinMoin18 for notes on the latest
version of the wiki software. SVN should work unchanged - I do not think
that you need to checkout again from the new server, but do so if you
get errors.

The main concern is with emails, including the J forums. This is complex
to configure and can only be fully tested by going live and seeing if it
works. I'll post to the forums when everything seems to be working. In
the meantime, I can be reached at my gmail address, cdburke AT gmail.com.

How to tell if you are accessing the new server? It should not be too
hard to figure out!
