@ is a conjunction; both conjunction and adverb bind to the lhs
a...@b@c...@d is ((a...@b)@c)@d
a@(b@(c...@d)) need parenthesis if you really mean that.

you can set on the session window, edit > configure > display form > parens
then type  
  a...@b@c...@d
