Juergen,
I moved my j602 directory to Applications to emulate your session.
When I launched the gui application J and executed your commands, the
commands worked. When I launched the jconsole application J and
executed your commands, the commands also worked.
But, then I attempted more commands, trying to see if I could view an
image while in jconsole, and that does not work, for me. Which does
not surprise me because I notice that when image3.ijs is loaded, the
locale jzgrid is loaded, and I have had no luck using grid from
jconsole. I hope others can confirm to me that grid does not work in
jconsole? What this may mean for you, Juergen, is that even if you get
this working, you may not be able to do your work from jconsole.
