Your keyboard shortcut should be like the following: "C:\Documents and Settings\adam123\j602\bin\j.exe" ~user\projects\first\run.ijs
Don't forget the ~ before user. [The lab should be updated.] You probably lost the reference to j.exe while clicking a second time on the Browse button. Windows is not smart enough for that. Note that you could as an alternative specify the script as run.ijs with the proper default (start-in) directory (while updating the shortcut). ~ Gilles ---------- Original Message ----------- From: adam dunne <[email protected]> To: Programming forum <[email protected]> Sent: Wed, 11 Feb 2009 13:49:51 +0530 Subject: [Jprogramming] shortcut in Project Manager > Using the "Building Applications" Lab, I can't seem to get the keyboard > shortcut at the end to work. > > I create a keyboard shortcut: > > "C:\Documents and Settings\adam123\j602-user\projects\first\run.ijs" > > But when I double click on it it comes up with "Install:J Software j602". > > Even if I install j602 again in the folder "first" it still keeps > coming up with > > "Install:J Software j602" every time I double click the shortcut. > > I think the problem is something to do with the seperation of "j602" > and "j602-user" > > Folders in j602. > > -Adam Dunne > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm ------- End of Original Message ------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
