I assume that you are on a Windows platform. Out of curiosity, I did a search on Google and found that Quickbooks(QB) databases (.db) are apparently Paradox type databases.
You can access those using an ODBC driver. My WinXP includes such a driver for Paradox. J has four labs on using ODBC with J. You should also read the Windows Help on ODBC. Besides you could find a library to directly access Paradox dbs, but I would not favor that approach initially. Pxlib is such a library (http://pxlib.sourceforge.net/). You can find many other equivalents. J has three labs on using the related DLL interface. My search also revealed that you could simply import and export all of your data from QB to Excel (csv file?). NB. I am no expert on QB and Paradox; thus everything above is subject to be in error. ~ Gilles ---------- Original Message ----------- From: Elan <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Thu, 2 Jul 2009 23:27:48 -0700 Subject: [Jprogramming] J and Quickbooks > Hi. > Does anyone have experience with interfacing J and Quickbooks?
