Thanks, I have emacs for Windows, and will take a look. The site has Author: Alexander Schmolck Date: 2007-02-13
and a statement by the author that he hasn't time to update -- he has heard reports J 5.4 works with his interface in Windows emacs, earlier J's did not work with Windows emacs. When I was using J for instruction, students worked in a PC lab (Windows). None of them knew enough to deal with emacs, knowledge Schmolck says is needed, so my wistful request remains. For me it is (sorry) academic, as I have retired. bill lam wrote: > I guess emacs might be useful to you. > http://j-mode.sourceforge.net/j-mode-screenshot.png > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
