Following on with the explanation of Tracy, one can define 
an anonymous explicit verb with an argument as below. Note that 
the result is the application of the verb to its arg. This is 
useful if you need a single execution of the verb, in an initialization 
phase for instance. The verb is temporary, takes no (permanent) space 
in the symbol table or elsewhere. The arg could have been defined 
in a previous line.

    asd =: 3 : 0 "0 ] 1 2
t =. 2*(1+y)
1+t*(t-1)+i.4
)
   asd         NB. asd is _not_ the verb definition here!
