Hello Nicholas;

 From your positive response to Roger, I assume you consider 'answers' 
and 'hits' to be equivalent concepts.  Without more context, you using 
different words would have suggested otherwise.  I will conclude that an 
equivalent problem statement would have been: given a large amount of 
test data, groups of 9 numbers that are either 0: misses, or 1: hits, 
according to some calculation, get the items that are hits.
