I had not done so.
It turns out ;@:{L:0 1~ is significantly slower
than 3 : '(*c) #^:_1 (I.c) <@;/. (;y){y [ c=. #&> y'
That said, I currently am not inclined to replace
the shorter expression with the more elaborate
expression, at rosetta code.
