Limit error signals you've hit the walls of your machine (usually), so
there's not much you can do about it.  The easiest answer is get a 64 bit
machine with lots of memory.

If you're stuck at 32 bits, then just do it in chunks; even if you could
materialize i.3e8 in memory, it would take forever to process in one go
(even assuming you avoided similarly large intermediate arrays).
