Bjorn: good idea, but no, I think. I tried replacing my \n 's with 
\r\l and got the same result. (Also the documentation on printf says 
that on Windows \n is replaced by CRLF).

New example: print '\r\lTest\r\l%j\r\lAnother test\r\l%j\r\l' sprintf mz
