I gave this one a go a few years ago for factory QA and scan & pack operations and EDI. Unfortunately, the client wanted control on which hand-held devices to use.
Because of this requirement and my existing design by then, J sits in an Application Server as a service. Although the system has been replaced with "newer" modules, we still used the EDI system on desktop PC's. :) Hahahha. I just realized that I'm trolling. LOL.
