Hi -

I understand that J7 will focus on working with two GUIs: the web browser,
and GTK+.

As we know, aside from J's powerful, efficient vector-processing
capabilities, another strength of J is the fact that it's interpreted,
making it easier to inspect and manipulate all aspects of a program's
run-time state, including what's in memory and what's on the screen.

I recently started reading about GTK-Server:

http://www.gtk-server.org/intro.html

"GTK-Sever ... offers a stream-oriented interface to the GTK libraries,
enabling access to graphical user interfaces for shellscripts and
interpreted programming ..."

It sounds like it would be interesting to use GTK-Server along with J.
