Ah! For your rctst circles I can't, by visual inspection, see any solutions that surround just one circle meeting all the tangency requirements.
Consider these job applicants: The engineer builds a polygonal fence around the sheep. "Good." says the farmer. The physicist next cinches the fence to round the corners thereby using less fencing supplies. "Ha ha!" he gloats. The mathematician builds a fence around himself then declares "I am on the outside." The code looks good to me. > TDate: Tue, 21 Sep 2010 14:55:12 +1200 > From: "Sherlock, Ric" <[email protected]> > Subject: Re: [Jprogramming] rosetta code apollonius > To: Programming forum <[email protected]> > Message-ID: > <f43d47796ad0844785a03f36345220846871222...@tur-exchmbx.massey.ac.nz>rue, > but apollonius (amoeba) isn't producing sensible answers for the > > > > solutions where only one circle is surrounded, i.e. the following left arguments: > _1 _1 1 > _1 1 _1 > 1 _1 _1 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
