Odbc supported 64-bit (even for linux) for years. The error you saw seem related to iad/memr in dll itself. It is good that you always get the error, please try using debugger (ctrl-k in ide) before running odbc. When error occurs, examine the value of pa and definition of memr, and checkt the stack running to the point of error.
Once you pass that point, there may be still other issues related to _your_ specific odbc driver. 64-bit drivers that I tested (partially) ok included ms-sql native driver and ace (64-bit version of ms-access). my-sql and sqlite will not work because their drivers are buggy, I suppose.
