I have some difficulties interpreting the meaning of Catalogue in the
Vocabulary. It explains that {y forms ... its shape being the chain of the
shapes of the opened items of y .

I understand that as :

   y=. 'ht';'ao';'gtw'

   ]r=. {y

┌───┬───┬───┐

│hag│hat│haw│

├───┼───┼───┤

│hog│hot│how│

└───┴───┴───┘

┌───┬───┬───┐

│tag│tat│taw│

├───┼───┼───┤

│tog│tot│tow│

└───┴───┴───┘

   $r NB. Its shape is not

2 2 3

   $>y NB. the chain of the shapes of the opened items of y .

3 3

And it goes on saying that ... The common shape of the boxed results is $y .

   $y

3

Can someone explain what I am missing.

Thanks.
