Andrew, Perhaps it can be done in this ways, change wpsave into an ambivalent verb. If an optional left argument such as PFormhwnd is supplied, then wpsave knows that the form has already been psel and will not issue another psel. I guess only jwplot (not any plot) will call wpset and wpsave.
