May be you can write a cover verb for glsel, eg, glsel_jgl2_=: 3 : 0 smoutput 'glsel' 11!:2035 y )
examine call stack when it was suspended. Perhaps a way to workaround escape is to remove the verb xxx_cancel for the ijs window. That being said, the issue no longer affected me because I now always use vi to edit ijs files and only use the ide to run projects.
