When I try an old script to generate and save a plot, J slowly dies trying to save the graph, asking whether Microsoft has to be informed about the error. It's J602 under Win7 and exact the same script used to work last year under Win XP.
In the documentation http://www.jsoftware.com/jwiki/Plot/Commands#Copycommands it is said that some types like jpg, png,tif and gif should work, but load 'media/platimg' makes no difference. >From the other types only emf works fine, bmp also kills J. If anyone has a hint how to recover the possibility to save different types of files under J602, I would much appreciate that. R.E.
