JHS JAL update change summary:

jijs app (editor) been simplified to use html textarea. Although missing
features (e.g., syntax coloring) in the previous version (contenteditable
div), it should be easier to use and more predictable and reliable. The
previous version is still available as jijsce app.

jijxipad app supports iPad and similar tablet devices.

JHS experience shows that browser apps jijs (editor), jfile (file manager),
and jfif (find in files) are not as powerful or convenient as desktop
applications and tools. This update provides a few (Simple Project)
utilities that might make it easier to use a local JHS server with your
desktop editors and tools. Start JHS and display noun sphelp for more
information.

Jsoftware JUM has been updated to this version.

*** personal notes ***

jijxipad allows J from an iPad, I like it and find myself using my iPad more
and more. Try an iPad on the Jsoftware JUM or on your own JHS server.

The Simple Project utilities are an ad hoc collection I've cobbled together
to make use of a local JHS server easier. This is perhaps an area where
users are each rolling their own. I welcome feedback and am motivated to
evolve Simple Project to be more effective if there is any community
interest. Although initially released and packaged with JHS it works the
same way in jconsole (only additional work would be editrc shortcuts for JHS
ctrl+, and ctrl+/).
