1. First, associate the script file type .ijs to be run with j.exe 2. Write a script that can run without anything preloaded. I just made a script containing the following for a test: (11!:0)'mb "Test" "Hello World"' 3. Make a shortcut to the script. Put it on the desktop or where ever you want it. Done
Double click the shortcut to verify that the script is run by J. I modified J startup so it recognizes being started like this and goes ahead and loads script files as are loaded when starting J normally.
