The median measures the sample value in the middle of a data set, so the median 
is a good estimate of the 50th  percentile.   My ten sample medians are shown 
above. Because of the index origin of zero, one should be added to each shown 
median. I would expect the sample means  to be larger than the medians -- as 
they were here -- because the samples look skewed to the right.
