Viktor and Al, I am sorry to hear of your difficulty and, at the moment, I have almost no idea what to make of it. I have over a dozen reports on cell phones, tablets and a kindle of a smooth installation.
The first suspect might be a corrupted download. The md5sum for the present package is: j-console.apk md5sum: 8e731b47ad70d8678f80d29f8d253ec6 filesize: 2958812 apk is a thin veneer on the zip format. on linux, $ unzip -l j-console.apk will produce a listing of the contents if the file is not corrupt. On window or a mac, you might have to make a copy with the extension renamed to test it thus. Could you please double check what you downloaded and let me know? I am anxious to make this as portable as possible. I should note that the present package has only been tested at all in the ARM-5 environment but includes binaries for ARM-7 and x86. If your Android is using something other than an ARM-5 CPU, I should like to hear about it so we can provide neccessary tunings for those platforms as well. - michael On Thu, Mar 15, 2012 at 1:33 PM, Al Matthews <prolep...@gmail.com> wrote: > Hello.
