I too had difficulty finding how to install addons after the base 
installation.

  Here are a few suggestions to improve the web instructions.

  Page http://www.jsoftware.com/stable.htm could(should!) provide 
a link to 

      http://www.jsoftware.com/jwiki/System/Installation

  That page could explain the distribution approach like so:

J7 is distributed as a minimal base System with many addons. 
The developer's GUI IDE and all documentation are distributed as addons. 

To download the J IDE, run j701/bin/jgtk and follow displayed instructions.

To download addons, use the Package Manager with either the GUI or console
