Due to the word “radius” in the description at https://proj.org/en/stable/operations/transformations/horner.html#cmdoption-arg-range I expected the range value to specify a circle instead of a box. More importantly, I expected it to apply on the input coordinates in the forward transformation and the output coordinates in the inverse transformation. I think the latter would make more sense, as that would mean one can use the same +range for the forward and inverse transformation. Therefore I would like to suggest a change in the code instead of only making the documentation more comprehensive.
