Hi Joe,
please, go ahead with your implementation. I didn't mean you should have
refactored your code to use pluginutils, rather it was only a wild idea
for a general feature we should probably heave. In fact I wrote it in your
ticket but I should better write it on the mailing list as a general
thread.
Anyway just in case you are still curious, just have a look at the
corresponding pluginutil_tests.py that shows how to wrap e.g. WebSubmit
functions or BibFormat Elements or BibSched Tasklets...
Anyway, so, please discard my previous message WRT your ticket :-)
