 I for one welcome our new documentation overlords. :)

 Seriously, though, I can't revise anything for the next week or two, but
 this would probably be a great preparing-to-leave-town, low-demand
 activity, so if we could decide on the epydoc successor by the 23rd, I can
 probably get the components in search_engine_query_parser and author
 special mode updated before I come to CERN.  I don't have much opinion
 about what documentation solution we pick, but I think switching is a
 great idea if for no other reason than because it forces us to revisit
 outdated docs (eventually).

 I don't suppose there's any way to detect whether a file contains epydoc
 (versus sphinx or whatever)?
