Hi Sam, Tibor,
I am also wondering if the MathJax could be used a normalizer - and
because one can provide macros, it could also translate more complex
things. So it could help to improve the indexing/retrieval accuracy. And
perhaps an interactive jquery could help with choosing the symbol (i.e.
index \tex entries, but help to write them into the search form using a
widget)
