I think if they set their preferences this would not be an issue
(forgetting that they explicitly removed other formats). The drop down
could be handy for showing alternate formats. These things are used pretty
heavily and a drop down implies another click, which users find clunky.
Recall that when we must choose, we generally want to optimize for heavy
users to do things quickly, not necc. for ease of use for new users.
