Was this possibility actually required by someone?
I think anonymous commenting should not be allowed. When people
register an account, they must select a nickname. If people feel a
need to hide their identity, they can choose a somewhat `secretive'
nickname. When they comment, we should simply display whatever
nickname they selected to represent themselves on our site... which is what
we do already.
(of course, on CDS, nicknames were not enforced in the past, hence
user#123...)

Once a nickname has been set, it is no longer possible to send a comment
anonymously. Users might need to have an option to still send comments
anonymously, case by case.
