The HTML MARC and Text MARC output formats have been historically produced in
search_engine.py via direct bibxxx table lookup calls.
They should rather be integrated in the usual BibFormat's format_record()
policy. Either via bibxxx, or possibly from MARCXML via xmlmarc2textmarc.
This would allow clients to easily see what Text MARC output would look like
for some MARCXML snippets for not-uploaded records. (That is, when
format_record() is called for some MARCXML snippet, not for some record ID.)
This would be useful for example for the Multi-Record Editor.
