Dear Invenio developers,
It would be really nice (and probably relatively easy to implement) if
bibupload had an extra switch (ie. --pretend) to run all checks but
skip the actual upload of bibrecords!
This way one could fully check the record structure before doing the
actual import. I recently needed this feature when I was requested to
import a big chunk of records from an external source: I converted
them using bibconvert into valid XMLMarc format for Invenio, but some
'strange' characters that appeared in the abstract field produced
errors during upload and had to be dealt with differently for each
record.
