- test data to be imported:
cdswebdev.cern.ch
search for: 999:'hep-th'
search for: reportnumber:"hep-th/9906064"
download MARCXML:
wget -O z.xml 'http://cdswebdev.cern.ch/record/1026271?of=xm'
- issues:
- citations only available for hep-th
... you may need to rerun refextract
- 999C5 $m $s ... but demo site uses 999 C5 $p $v $t $y
... you may need to edit demo records to use $s
- 773 $p ... in demo it is in 909C4 $c $p $v $y
- so pay attentention to more field differences...
- establish ~150 records test bed
- put demo recors in:
cds-invenio/modules/miscutil/demo/demobibdata.xml
... but this file is used for many other test cases in
"bibrecord_tests.py"

For citation testing
*added references (by refextract) to several records where they were missing
in demobibdata.
*updated the field lenght array in bibedit tests to reflect the changes.

Reopening this task, because:
There are still records having 999C5 $ptvy instead of 999C5 $s.
There are still journal pubinfo standardization problems, e.g.
commas in:
<subfield code="s">Phys. Lett. B 256 (1991) 150</subfield>
<subfield code="s">Phys. Lett., B 151 (1985) 357</subfield>
There are still records without any references, e.g. hep-th/9809057.
Also references for hep-ph/0002060 are incomplete, etc.
(Would be good to run refextract on PDFs to generate new 999C5 with journal
pubinfo standardization to clean this all up.)

Field codes have been normalized and 999C5r -fields added.

Reopening this task, because the demo records need some cleaning and
improvements.
1) Demo records should be cleaned with respect to references.
Currently two versions are used in 999: new records have 999 $s
(standardized form) and old records have 999 $p,t,v,y (split form).
Old records should be updated to the new form.
2) At the same time, care should be taken in order to have in the demo
set all possible combinations for testing citations with respect to
the presence/absence of report numbers (037, 088) and presence/absence
of publication reference information (909C4 on demo, 773 on prod).
a) citations via report numbers:
- a record with 037, cited via 999 $r
- a record with 037 and 909C4, cited via 999 $r only
- a record with 088, cited via 999 $r
- a record with 088 and 909C4, cited via 999 $r only
- a record with both 088 and 037, cited via 999 $r pointing to 088
- a record with both 088 and 037, cited via 999 $r pointing to 037
- a record with both 088 and 037, cited via two 999 $r (repetitive
subfields)
b) citations via publication information:
- a record with 909C4 only, cited via 999 $s
- a record with 909C4 only, cited via both 999 $r and 999 $s
- a record with 037 and 909C4, cited via 999 $s only
- a record with 037 and 909C4, cited via both 999 $r and 999 $s
- (possibly ditto for 088)
c) external citations:
- an external record cited via 999 $r
- an external record cited via 999 $s
- an external record cited via both 999 $r and 999 $s
(Some of the combinations are already in the demo site, some are not... I
just wanted to list all combinations here.)
3) Later, we might enrich this even more, in order to have a testbed
for citations via DOIs (909C4 $a), if we decide to have DOIs in
references too (999 $a?).
