Thanks, I'll play with them this evening.

FYI (and for Frédéric's information), I have just committed this
rather big update to WebSession:
| Added treatment of nicknames. For new users, it is now mandatory to
| create nickname when registering. For existing users, nickname can
| be set at most once. When logging in, both nicknames and email
| addresses are now accepted as usernames. In the user info box and
| on the personal pages, nicknames are now preferred to be shown
| instead of email addresses. As I went along I refactored some of
| the WebSession code, but much more refactoring would be desirable to
| improve this module.
This is needed for the purposes of new collaborative features.
The update may touch your local WebSession templates and possibly your
user/group management mechanism. Please check it out. I have tested
it only WRT local authentication method so far. We shall do more
refinements to it after the release.
(Also, I'll be continuously making several little updates along this
line, e.g. to introduce a big warning box for registered users not
having any nickname yet, or in order to treat nicknames as usernames
for BibSched tasks, etc.)
BTW, while we are talking about the user nickname subject, we shall
commit tomorrow an initial version of ``Your Groups'' pages that will
enable people to set up their own local user groups. This may also
interfere with your EPFL-centralized group handling and so the commit
would require some careful consideration as well. As Fred knows, we
have foreseen a possibility to have both `locally' and `externally'
defined groups (e.g. LDAP), because we shall also have a CERN-wide
centralized group treatment soon. For the time being the initial
version of ``Your Groups'' only works with locally defined groups,
but we plan to refine this bit after the release.
P.S. Hope to meet you at EPFL tomorrow afternoon?
Best regards
