Hi Peter,
Once you created Default_ARXIV_HTML_detailed.bft you also need to
connect it to the records, via the output_formats:
in invenio/etc/bibformat/output_formats/HD.bfo (I guess in your case it
will be the default one), reload apache, and that should be it.
You can see what template is used (or if there are any error in the
template) if you append the '&verbose=9' to the detailed record url.
