This patch breaks citation summary pages, see for example
`/search?p=of&of=hcs` that leads to an error. So it may be dangerous to
commit this globally without carefully checking all our various pages
first. Can you please fix citation summary output, check more pages, rerun
whole test suite and stuff, and amend as needed as part of this patch?
