#1017: Sending Ctrl+C when viewing logs, stops the task

When I go into log viewing and I use the shift+f functionality which works
a bit like tail, I have to use ctrl+c to exit that mode.
However when I do that it sends ABOUT to STOP in the logs of the task I am
viewing the log for.
The problem is I do not want to stop it.
I am not sure why this is happening. I'll try to investigate when I have
free time.
