Note that with the new improved restricted collection searching facility
-- i.e. automatically checking which collections a user can see and
automatically offering these in the search results even when people start
to search from Home -- the hiding of restricted collections in the tree
can happen kind of automatically, depending on how collections are
attached to the tree.
So let's look at this ticket after that one.
Moreover, if improvements in this direction will still be needed, then
instead of introducing a new CFG flag, we could simply introduce a new
collection mother--daughter relationship (r=regular, v=virtual, h=hidden).
I guess all the interesting scenarios would be covered well that way.
