For the last few days, I was experimenting with the submission of refereed documents. I managed to make it work, but my question is whether there is a way for the referee to PREVIEW (and even better EDIT) the bibrecord BEFORE deciding to approve/reject it.
I know the attached files can be previewed, but I couldn't find something similar for the marc record itself. The Make_Dummy_MARC_XML_Record function of the SBI action creates successfully the dummy xml record, but how can I take advantage of it in order to preview the record? In the "Approval and Refereeing Workflow" window, the "More Information" button displays information only AFTER the approval sequence (and hence the creation of the record)
An even better alternative, would be for the referee to be able to retrieve and display the values of the 'elements' (that the user completed during the submission) in the APP part of the submission. This way the referee could modify/add values to some fields
before the submission is approved... I'm eager to listen to any suggestions you might have regarding this issue! Best regards, Theodoropoulos Theodoros
