I see.  So you may like to hear that, when you upgrade to v0.99.1 or
higher, that the sleeping/stopping of bibsched tasks has become much
safer when compared to v0.92.1, because now the tasks reply to
sleep/stop/etc commands from the scheduler only in places declared as
safe by the tasks themselves.  So sometimes you have to wait before a
task obeys you, but OTOH it is much harder to break a task by sending it
various signals in various times.
