WebAccess of version 0.99.x is still identical to the old release, plus you
can optionally use FireRole to specify user to role membership in an indirect
way by exploiting user account/session features (e.g. the IP address, group
membership etc.). The special feature of restricted collections is changed a
bit because the old Apache group membership system has been integrated into
FireRole so that restricted collections can be controlled through WebAccess
like all the other actions.
Could you specify which behaviour are you facing that prevents you from seeing
the "Theses" restricted collection? What actually happens? If you first login
with the user account you connected to "Theses viewers" and then try search
the "Theses" collection is the system still blocking you?
