It was suggested that we try to offer the new functionality to the jQueryUI guys, so if the like/accept the changes, it might be in the mainstream (preferable) If you want to experiment with the plugin, without lucene backend, you can checkout the source svn checkout https://svn.cern.ch/reps/rcarepo/newseman/trunk/tmp/dumean .
