Being CDS Invenio a digital library (for the preservation of digital content)
it would be nice to exploit the PDF/A specification that has born to preserve
digital content in the future.
(see: <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PDF/A>)

Ghostscript support the conversion to PDF/A standard, and this conversion
could be plugged in the form of a WebSubmit function (like
Stamp_Uploaded_Files.py).

At the same time, the PDF could be "linearized" (via pdfopt) (see:
<http://linux.die.net/man/1/pdfopt>). Since CDS Invenio has now gained
multipart/byteranges response support Adobe Reader would exploit the
combination of this and a linearized document to open in a very optimized way
the document over the network.

(Also see nice tutorial:

Implementation almost completed. Just missing a couple of WebSubmit functions
to exploit it.
