For daily lists, there should be only few dozens to post-parse, isn't it? If you search for Boolean ``FOO AND 03/24/2012'', how many records do you typically get? The post-filtering step is there only for records having more than one field instance of the kind, in order to eliminate records that may have: FOO 03/21/2012 BAR 03/24/2012 Should not be that many? > However, I could create a compound index that would eliminate the need > for all the parsing.
