Exactly. And, unfortunately, there exists a bunch of them that should
live there. urn e.g. is very common for PhD theses (especially, but not
limited to Germany), which is also used by many OA repositories. Dspace
repos use Handle IDs, that go there as well and so on. And also PMID/PMC
ID would most likely live there. We currently win a lot of these due to
data migration / enrichment procedures.
