Hi!

Is someone arround who could give me a helping hand with bibindex?

During the night I uploaded a bunch of records for some
testing to an almost empty invenio (mainly the demo site +
an additional collection). Before working up all
bibupload-tasks (some 28.000) I stopped all indexing and
other housekeeping stuff. Now I tried to run reindex this
morning to get all in proper order.

However, now I experience an emergency for id 9 stating:

2011-09-09 09:30:31 --> Creating new tmp index tables for id 9
2011-09-09 09:30:31 --> tmp_idxWORD09F contains 0 words from 205 records
2011-09-09 09:30:31 --> EMERGENCY: tmp_idxWORD09F needs to repair 205 of
205 index records
2011-09-09 09:30:31 --> EMERGENCY: tmp_idxWORD09F inconsistencies
detected...
2011-09-09 09:30:31 --> EMERGENCY: Errors found. You should check
consistency of the tmp_idxWORD09F - tmp_idxWORD09R tables. Running
'bibindex --repair' is recommended.
2011-09-09 09:30:31 --> Exception caught: Errors found. You should check
consistency of the tmp_idxWORD09F - tmp_idxWORD09R tables. Running
'bibindex --repair' is recommended.
2011-09-09 09:30:32 --> tmp_idxWORD09F normal wordtable flush started
2011-09-09 09:30:32 --> ...updating 0 words into tmp_idxWORD09F started
2011-09-09 09:30:32 --> ...updating 0 words into tmp_idxWORD09F ended
2011-09-09 09:30:32 --> ...updating reverse table tmp_idxWORD09R started
2011-09-09 09:30:32 --> ...updating reverse table tmp_idxWORD09R ended
2011-09-09 09:30:32 --> tmp_idxWORD09F normal wordtable flush ended
2011-09-09 09:30:32 --> Task #28637 finished. [ERROR]

On the other hand

  bibindex -k

states everything is ok also in index 9 and all other
indexes.

  bibindex --repair

also does not solve the problem, as soon as I run the
reindex stuff, the error turns up again.

Therefore, I tried

  echo "DELETE FROM idxWORD09R WHERE type='TEMPORARY' or
type='FUTURE';" | dbexec

analogous to the docs (bibindex-admin-guide). As far as I
understand it this should just drop the index and mark it as
"to be done". However, it also does not solve the problem.

Curiously enough, my problem appears in a --reindex call.
I'd guess that this should recreate the indexes from scratch
anyway so any inconsistency should be resolved by this
automatically regardless if it existed before.

Additionally, I'd like to understand what's wrong with my
procedure before adding the next bunch of records.
